In proprietary research conducted with HR professionals she found that only 7% reported that their PM process had achieved its goals, and less than 20% said their process has led to stronger motivation, engagement, and performance. Nonmember registration requests must be submitted in advance; no on-site registrations can be accepted . For over 30 years, she has worked with companies to design HR strategies to attract, engage, develop, and retain employees, and drive business performance. Edie is the co-author of Performance Enablement: A New Model for Driving Organizational Performance (Oxford University Press, 2026). Edie holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, is a SIOP Fellow, and a recipient of the HRPS Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions made to her profession.
